Formation, Unity, and North Korea
Based on the experience in North Korea, we realize that one of the main reasons for the attrition of workers there is not knowledge, but one’s formation. People give up serving in North Korea, not because of a lack of information about North Korea or projects, but because they have personal or relational issues. The Great Harvest 2027 Formations Program will address that issue by focusing on the Formation and Unity paradigm along with North Korea studies.
These courses facilitate growth personally, relationally, culturally, spiritually, and vocationally. Through self reflection and processing in community guided by the Holy Spirit, we aim to see greater self-awareness lead to deeper transformation as fellows' knowledge and experience are integrated.
Christ-centered Unity Paradigm provides a holistic framework to examine our relationship with God, humanity, and creation. It is God’s end-time design for the social and ecological justices inherent in our relationship with the Triune God. Fellows will begin to understand God’s will in the context of the relationship between God, humans, and all of creation
North Korea Studies

This content is included in monthly zoom calls available to all cohorts world-wide. Fellows with a heart for other parts of the world are encouraged to view this part of the course as a case study and glean insights that may be helpful in any context.
